The TSYR Ohio Dojo is a branch dojo of the Takamura ha Shindo Yoshin Kai located in Columbus, Ohio.The dojo-cho is Derek Deboer, possessing a Shoden Kirigami Mokuroku. Deboer Sensei was first introduced to Takamura ha Shindo Yoshin Ryu at a seminar in Toronto, Canada in 2010. A regular attendee at open TSYR seminars for several years, Deboer Sensei asked to formally join the Takamura ha Shindo Yoshin Kai in 2014 and started a TSYR Study Group in Dayton, Ohio. Deboer Sensei was awarded a Shoden Kirigami Mokuroku in 2017, converting his study group into the first TSYR branch dojo in Ohio. In 2020 the TSYR Ohio Dojo relocated, moving to its current location in Columbus, Ohio.
