The Kangetsu Dojo is a branch dojo of the Takamura ha Shindo Yoshin Kai located in Toronto, Canada.  It’s dojo-cho is Mark Ainslie, possessing a Shoden Kirigami Mokuroku. Mark Ainslie joined a TSYR Study Group in Toronto in 2006 and shortly after met Threadgill Sensei at a seminar in Northern Virginia. 

The original TSYR Study Group in Toronto disbanded but Mark kept in contact with the TSYR Honbu, visiting frequently and attending seminars. Mark Ainslie reconstituted a TSYR Study Group in Toronto and was awarded a Shoden Kirigami Mokuroku in 2015. With this, he founded the Kangetsu Dojo, the first Takamura ha Shindo Yoshin Ryu branch dojo in Canada.
