The Yoshin Wadokan is located in Hamilton City, the heart of the Waikato Region of New Zealand.

Robbie Smith established New Zealand Wado-Kai back in 1997. After relocation the hombu dojo was opened and named by Dr. Hakoishi Katsumi Sensei 8th Dan JKF Wado-Kai on the 18th March 2005.

Yoshin Wadokan can be translated as, ‘The Hall of cultivation of the mind and heart through the study for peace and harmony’.

The dojo is lead by Robbie Smith. Robbie is currently 7th Dan JKF Wado-Kai and holds a 1st kyu Instructors (International) license from the JKF Wado-Kai and is WKF Referee.
