Budo Academy Tenno was founded by Arnold Keizer in July 1989.

Arnold holds 4th Dan JKF Wadokai and has been training in Wado Ryu since 1977. In his search for the roots of Wado ryu he encountered Takamura Ha Shindo Yoshin Ryu Jujutsu lead by Kaicho Tobin Threadgill. Impressed by the task Sensei Tobin has put upon himself and his interest in Koryu Budo, Arnold applied for membership in the Takamura ha Shindo Yoshin Kai.

Arnold started the Budo Academy as a Wado ryu school but has recently, October 2008 Ronda-Spain, been honoured by Kaicho Tobin Threadgill to start a Study Group of Takamura Ha Shindo Yoshin Ryu Jujutsu in the Netherlands.

The Tenno dojo resides in Sassenheim-Netherlands.
